AOC launches India's first 23-inch Full HD 3D LED Razor TV In Just Rs 19990

How small is too small, when it comes to TV. Well, AOC India today unveiled a 23-inch 3D TV for the country, which as per the company claims is the smallest 3D TV in India. The company has also priced this television sweetly at Rs. 19,990.

The television has good viewing angles 9we were told that they go all the way to 179 degrees) however, we were not too impressed with the 3D quality of the AOC TV that was on the demo. Having said that one cannot expect more from a 23-inch TV that is priced at roughly Rs. 20,000.
Along with this television, AOC will be providing four pairs of 3D glasses for no additional cost. The 3D glasses are light weight. Moreover, they do not have come with any battery. Given the lack of 3D content the company is also giving away a free USB, which comes loaded with the Movie "Epic". Epic is an animated fantasy-adventure comedy-drama film.

In addition to that, AOC 23-inch HD 3D LED TV comes with a direct 3D key on the remote, which can convert and watch 2D content with 3D effect. Needless to add, that though a lot of 3D TVs are now coming with this functionality but there is a loss of quality in the conversion process. Like most connected devices today, the AOC TV comes with USB, HDMI and VGA port.
Speaking at the launch, Saurabh Grover, Director Sales, AOC said, "AOC believes in bringing new technologically advanced experiences to customers at affordable price points. This 23" Full HD 3D LED Razor TV is a great introduction for our consumers to the world of 3D viewing experience. We are confident that consumers will find the experience exciting and this product will get a good response."

Present at the event to launch the new TV, Soha Ali Khan said, "I have been a huge fan of 3D movies and being a movie buff, it's exciting to see AOC bringing consumers high end 3D viewing experience in India. You feel pictures are really come alive and find every detail of the scene."
When quizzed about the demand for 3D TVs in India, Saurabh Grover, Director Sales, AOC India, shared that 3D TVS currently occupy only 1 percent of the market. We will have to wait and see whether other consumer electronics players start offering television of the same size or will they wait to see how AOC fairs to bring in their offerings.
